Our Store

Nestled on second street of Belmont Shore (Long Beach), California, our store is made to tempt all your senses. We've tried to put together a collections of wonderful worldly goods for you to browse through to find that perfect gift.

The interior of the store is very "vintage eclectic", reflected in the art and gift items from the Italian metalwork to the glassware from Poland and items from the Czech Republic and India. "I wanted the store to have a romantic feel. Everything has a sensory feeling of romance - warm wood, texture, color and fixtures." According to Deborah Fay, owner of Romance Etc.

In the Family. Romanc Etc. is a family affair, as Deborah's mother, Helen, does the bookkeeping; Dawna assists with the design and buying; Dianna does the accounting; and her niece, Kelsey, was "pretty much raised in the store". Deborah has said that "Working with family has its challenges and rewards, but it's great having people there who care as much about the store as I do."

The atmosphere.
The intoxicating scent of flowers, fruits and spices lures customers into this beautifully decorated shop filled with romantic gifts. It's Valentine's Day all year long with fresh flowers, Godiva chocolates and to-die-for jewelry, accessories and candles. We've tried to create an elegant atmosphere that exudes romance.

Fall in love.
Whether you're shopping for your sweetheart or a treat for yourself, we want you to fall in love with something in our boutique. Fragrant lotions, handcrafted candle holders, designer jewelry, exotic vases, velvet pillows, chocolates, and fresh flowers intrigue you in the downstairs area. Books on romance and relationships fill a cozy nook upstairs. Dried flowers, table lamps, picture frames and mirrors are a few of the other treasures we've placed in our store to tempt you.
